Playground Planners, we believe in environmental stewardship to protect our natural resources for today and tomorrow.

It's important for all of us to consider the environment that we are passing on to our youth. Here’s what we take into consideration when we’re designing a playground:

• Whenever possible, we recommend green products that are recycled, recyclable, and are safe for our environment and kids
• We consider shade – natural by way of trees or constructed overhead structures – to reduce exposure to ultraviolet radiation (UVR)

Furthermore, our manufacturers are focused on attaining Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification. LEED encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted standards, tools and performance criteria.
