Playground Planners is a company owned and managed by Maryanne Swinimer and Debbie Beck — two professional playground planners (and moms!) who are passionate about providing the young and the young-at-heart with safe, challenging, and age appropriate play.

For the young and the young-at-heart

As you would guess, we’ve seen many changes in the industry over 20 years. The big thing right now is the change in demographics. Equipment has predominantly served the needs of children — and still does; however, with the baby boomers hitting their 60s, the age of our playground “users” is increasing! With this in mind, we are now seeing a need to design therapeutic fitness equipment into playgrounds.

We are dedicated to providing safe play balanced with exciting challenges for all ages. Our equipment is CSA approved and tested, and warranted. As certified CSA inspectors, as well as licensed playground practitioners, we are knowledgeable professionals who can turn your vision into reality. We have installed safe, accessible, and innovative playgrounds in Municipalities, School Boards, Ministries, Housing Communities, Daycares, Condominiums, and more.

It is important for all of us to consider the environment that we are passing on to our youth. We offer green products that are recycled, recyclable, and safe for our environment — and children. Furthermore, our manufacturers are focused on attaining Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification.
